Marker caption style preview

Marker shows one uppercase Permanent Marker word at a time in white with a 5px black stroke and a simple fade in. It suits casual vlogs, comedy and behind-the-scenes clips where the captions should feel hand-written.

Best for
Casual vlogs, comedy and behind-the-scenes clips

Marker uses Permanent Marker, a felt-tip handwriting face, set in uppercase white with a heavy 5px black stroke. The stroke keeps the thin pen strokes legible on any background.

The animation is a fade over the first 40 percent of each word's time on screen and nothing else, so the handwritten letterforms carry the personality while the motion stays calm.

It is a good match for casual vlogs, comedy, pranks and behind-the-scenes clips. Brush Tilt gives a similar hand-made feel with a painted face and a tilt.

FAQs

Frequent questions

Yes. Pick Marker, then open Customise in the editor to change the text colour, the highlight colour, the font and where the captions sit. The change applies to the whole transcript at once, so you keep the same motion and layout with your own palette.

Yes. The style is language neutral: the font, colours and animation apply to whatever language Crayo transcribes. Spanish uses Latin letters, which Permanent Marker is built for. For scripts such as Arabic, Hebrew or Japanese, swap the font in Customise and keep the rest of the look.

Auto Clip clips open in the Crayo editor, and the Styles panel lists Marker with the one word at a time grouping switched on. Tap it once and it applies to every line of the transcript.

There is no separate charge for caption styles. Every Crayo plan, Hobby, Clipper and Pro, includes Marker and every other style in this gallery, plus the editor to customise them. Crayo itself is a paid subscription.
