Lime Slab is the green sibling of Slab Yellow. Alfa Slab One in uppercase white with a 5px black stroke stays readable on anything, and the word being spoken switches to a lime green.

Each word rises 12px into its baseline as it appears, so a sentence builds word by word while the highlight moves along it. There is no shadow beyond the stroke.

It is a strong choice for podcast highlights, fitness and money content, and any clip where viewers should follow along word for word. Slab Yellow swaps the accent for yellow and adds a zoom.

Frequent questions

Yes. Pick Lime Slab, then open Customise in the editor to change the text colour, the highlight colour, the font and where the captions sit. The change applies to the whole transcript at once, so you keep the same motion and layout with your own palette.

Yes. The style is language neutral: the font, colours and animation apply to whatever language Crayo transcribes. French uses Latin letters, which Alfa Slab One is built for. For scripts such as Arabic, Hebrew or Japanese, swap the font in Customise and keep the rest of the look.

Auto Clip clips open in the Crayo editor, and the Styles panel lists Lime Slab with line grouping, which is the default. Tap it once and it applies to every line of the transcript.

There is no separate charge for caption styles. Every Crayo plan, Hobby, Clipper and Pro, includes Lime Slab and every other style in this gallery, plus the editor to customise them. Crayo itself is a paid subscription.
