Bold Zoom uses Sigmar One, one of the heaviest faces in the gallery, in uppercase white with a 5px black stroke and no shadow or box.

Each word zooms in from 70 percent to full size over the first 15 percent of its duration. The entrance is quick and clean, with no overshoot, which keeps very short words from feeling jittery.

Use it on hype and sports clips, quotes and countdowns. Blue Box puts the same typeface in a blue box on full lines.

Frequent questions

Yes. Pick Bold Zoom, then open Customise in the editor to change the text colour, the highlight colour, the font and where the captions sit. The change applies to the whole transcript at once, so you keep the same motion and layout with your own palette.

Yes. The style is language neutral: the font, colours and animation apply to whatever language Crayo transcribes. German uses Latin letters, which Sigmar One is built for. For scripts such as Arabic, Hebrew or Japanese, swap the font in Customise and keep the rest of the look.

Auto Clip clips open in the Crayo editor, and the Styles panel lists Bold Zoom with the one word at a time grouping switched on. Tap it once and it applies to every line of the transcript.

There is no separate charge for caption styles. Every Crayo plan, Hobby, Clipper and Pro, includes Bold Zoom and every other style in this gallery, plus the editor to customise them. Crayo itself is a paid subscription.
