Yellow Wave is the softest of the yellow styles. Chivo in sentence case is set in a bright yellow, and instead of a stroke it carries a yellow glow offset 3px with a 14px blur, so the text looks lit from behind.

Lines appear as a wave: each word rises 6px into place, staggered forward word by word, so a sentence rolls onto the screen left to right.

Frequent questions

Yes. Pick Yellow Wave, then open Customise in the editor to change the text colour, the highlight colour, the font and where the captions sit. The change applies to the whole transcript at once, so you keep the same motion and layout with your own palette.

Yes. The style is language neutral: the font, colours and animation apply to whatever language Crayo transcribes. Dutch uses Latin letters, which Chivo is built for. For scripts such as Arabic, Hebrew or Japanese, swap the font in Customise and keep the rest of the look.

Auto Clip clips open in the Crayo editor, and the Styles panel lists Yellow Wave with line grouping, which is the default. Tap it once and it applies to every line of the transcript.

There is no separate charge for caption styles. Every Crayo plan, Hobby, Clipper and Pro, includes Yellow Wave and every other style in this gallery, plus the editor to customise them. Crayo itself is a paid subscription.
