Slovak captions in short

Crayo transcribes Slovak speech and adds animated captions to short clips from podcasts, streams and interviews. It is for Slovak podcasters, streamers and clippers who post captioned vertical clips to TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Slovakia shares much of its media space with the Czech Republic, so Slovak podcasts, interview shows and streamers reach both countries, and clips with Slovak captions are read without trouble by Czech viewers. The home audience is on TikTok and Instagram Reels, and Bratislava-based podcast and comedy channels produce long episodes well suited to clipping.

Slovak is written in the Latin alphabet with a wide set of diacritics, including ä, ľ, ĺ, ŕ, ô and the háček letters č, š, ž and ď, ť, ň. Because Czech and Slovak are so close, auto detection can return a Czech transcript, so choose Slovak explicitly in the language picker. Names and the soft consonants are the lines to check in the caption list after transcription.

A practical tip: Slovak diacritics are small and sit close to the letters, so a caption style with large, heavy text and two to three words per caption keeps them legible, and previewing the style on the clip before export shows how its font handles letters like ľ and ô.
